He has this sexy black lip and gorgeous cross eye
Brought Wobbly to another vet to get second opinion, did a general health profile, complete blood count, FIV/FELV test and medicated clean up. He is a lucky boy, no FlV, no kidney issue and no liver issue. However, he has two high range:
PLT – *1774 k/ul (normal range 175 – 600 k/ul)
EOS – 1.71 k/ul (normal range 0.10 – 0.79)
I am totally clueless what are these abbrievation and Dr. Vanessa (Wobbly’s vet) explained a little to me, I googled a little and find this amazing article from petplace.com,

PLT is an abbreviation for platelets. The platelets are responsible for sealing any leaks in the blood vessels. When platelet counts are low, spontaneous bleeding can occur. High platelet counts usually indicate a disorder of the bone marrow or an overwhelming response to an immune blood disease. Low platelet counts indicate bleeding or excessive destruction of platelets caused by parasites or immune diseases.
Eos is an abbreviation for eosinophil. This white blood cell is primarily involved in fighting allergies or parasites. High eosinophil counts indicate an allergy or parasite causing illness. Low levels are not possible since zero eosinophils are possible in normal blood samples.
In another word, he might have bone marrow issue or parasite/allergies attack that is causing him to walk wobbly, Dr Vanessa prescribed Amoxicillin Clavulanate 250mg (Antibiotics), Vigor paste (Multivitamins), Doxivet 100mg and Advocate to kill flea. He will be back to the vet for follow up in two weeks times.
Wish me luck to feed him with medication and I need to get the flea comb to ensure he gets his flea fixed.
Wasn’t quite sure why he walked wobbly so googled all the possibilities and I found this amazing website talking about cats with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, I did not know about this condition until wobbly show up in my life.
He’s pooing perfectly even though he wobble a little.
Just a week ago, when I was feeding Whitestar, this tiny cat, wobbly knock behind my back with a weakened meow. “Woooo, where is this little fellow came from”. Whitestar has been quite a territorial kind of feline so it is impossible for other cats to be around his area, especially those small and weaker one.
He’s been walking slowly, wiggle left and right, struggles to walk in a straight and slam himself on the ground just to catch his breathe. My heart drops when I see him walking wobbly, what happen to him, oh dear, what if he get into fight with Whitestar? HE CAN’T SURVIVE HIMSELF JUST OUTSIDE THIS NEIGHBOURHOOD. he has been in my thoughts for few days….
Couple of days later, spotted him sleeping underneath a bin, I brought my camera along, just to record his walking situation and posted online for help… Ended up, I get more “opinions” than help, dishearten and was not sure what to do. As everything progressing so fast, managed to get help through Cat Welfare Society (Thanks Felicia and Cat welfare Society), Felicia a volunteer trapper contacted me and help to trap wobbly, and brought him to vet, who specialised in acupuncture and professional experience with animals that are paralysed. The consultation was diagnosed that Wobbly might be falling from great height and hurt his lower back, was given with couple of medicine and injection and that’s it. I told myself that I can’t just leave him back to the neighbourhood and decided to bring him home to give him some food and a place to sleep in peace…
This wobbly little fellow found me, he is giving me a sense of home, where I will look forward to going home as I knew someone waiting for me, He found me and a place in my heart.
Whitestar staring at wobbly while I was trying to feed both of them together.
Finally, I get a chance to record this down, my many conversation with wawa, the cat who don’t meow, just a simple wa…erwaaa….wa wa.
He is always there whenever I shake the dry bowl container, he will wiggle out from the car lot and come to have a chat with me. He’s not eating today, I guess he’s full from morning feeding rounds.
